I wasn’t sure that they were going to last very long so I tried to keep it dry and not wear it in the shower but ended up doing so and it stayed the same and nothing happened. I have wore it everyday since Christmas of 2021 and it is August 2022 and it is still in very good condition. The two little weights on the end of the strings have tarnished and turned a copper color, but they don’t seem to effect my skin, which is very sensitive and tends to break of or turn green when things are fake. The saying itself didn’t tarnish or wear off at all.
