I love the “slide style” slipper but the shelf life was bad on the liner. I didn’t return the slippers because I love the fit, the color, & usually the wearability.These are really comfy. I got them as backups to leave at a friend’s house. I have the Ugg’s version at mine. For the money, I’d go for the uggs, but I didn’t want to end up with 2 pairs. The downside on these is the top needs to come back a bit, it’s short. When I walk, I have to grip with my toes a bit otherwise it feels like I’ll drag them. And I hhhaaattteee when people walk dragging their shoes! I have wide feet, so anyone with narrow feet would really have to grip. Also, the box looks like they’re New England, USA, etc. They are made in China. The whole world is made there.This is my 3rd pair of Old Friend slippers. The first two pair I wore for many years and absolutely loved. My second pair i wore for over 3 years before the sole started to come apart. I absolutely love this red pair I just got. They are exactly what I wanted and exactly the same as my previous slippers. Huge issue with this pair, though! They have stretched out so much i now have to wear socks with them. They are barely a couple months old! The ones I wore for 3 years I couldn't fit socks in even if I wanted to! I definitely will not get 3 years out of these slippers unfortunately. I haven't given up on this brand, but I have an issue spending this much on slippers that stretch out this much in this amount of time. As much as I love Old Friend slippers, I just can't recommend this pair of red slippers and that makes me sad!These are even cuter in person! My niece had them, and I asked her where she got them because I just had to have a pair. I ordered them immediately, I love them! Super comfortable and good quality.I have an on going problem with slippers and shoes! I have very sensitive feet and it is difficult to find anything that works. I have paid big money and am usually disappointed so I was happily surprised by these moderately prices slippers. They were comfortable from the moment I slipped them on! They are warm, easy to keep on my feet and are wearing well. They are well named as they are now my "old friend"!Makes sure you order your true size I ordered a 9 and my feet go to the very end of them I love these you can't go wrong they don't disappointI purchased this pair of Old Friend slippers in March of 2021 to replace my original pair I purchased in 2014. 1st pair 6 years of continuous use, (I only wear slippers in the house, no shoes) still used in our camper. 2nd pair just over 15 months of wear and they are falling apart. Holes at the wear areas around the heels and toes on both slippers. When you pay $65+ for a pair of slippers you expect to get more than a little over a year of good wear. My fuzzy Ugg flip flops lasted longer than these and they were not Sherpa lined. So what is up with the quality of these once awesome slippers?I keep ordering slippers on Amazon. When I receive the slippers, they are the wrong size. It happened again. These are a 6.5-7.5 while I ordered a size 8-9. Quality wise they seem very nice. I was concerned because of some of the reviews but the sole looks to be intact and well sewn and the fur inside is fluffy. Too bad they are a size too small. They are nice enough that my 9 year old son decided to keep them for himself after trying them on (perfect fit for a boy with approximately a boys size 5 shoe) so I won't be sending them back. Hopefully the next pair of slippers will actually fit my foot.I have Edema, and have to wear bandages on my feet and legs so I bought one size up to accommodate for the extra bandage. They are wonderful!My feet are so much comfortable - so soft, and feel as if they were being held inside a marshmallow. No wonder they are called Old Friend.CheersBarbiI'm size 8 and read the previous review about this being sized small and to upsize if you are at the top of the size range. Well my two choices were size 8-9 and 10+. I thought going to size 10 from size 8 would be too much. That was a mistake. I can barely fit into the 8-9. Didn't realize how tight they were until threw packaging away. May go to a shoe store to stretch. Just barely fit. My heel is at the back edge. Otherwise look great and very warm.Nicely made, wonderfully soft, look great, but these are for people who live in bungalows and who have very wide feet. They have a large rim around the toe — I have tripped so many times wearing these, especially going up stairs, that I am ready to abandon them. Entertains the kids at least.These are fine, real sheepskin slippers with a decent outdoor sole. I am a 7.5 and ordered the 6.5-7.5 size, and while they juuussst fit, I'd suggest anyone on the upper end of the size range order the next size up.Lovely slippers - expected them to fit a bit small based on other reviews however they are slightly larger than expected. Nice and comfy and warm. Good to be able to wear outdoors too if on the deck or in garage!
