The Old Friend Bootee Slipper has been my favorite for more than 10 years. This is my fourth pair. I wear them around the house all day because they keep my poor old feet warm and comfy. Flipping the cuff up keeps my ankles warm too. This shearling is genuine and lush like it should be, not some manufactured knockoff. Nothing wrong with my current chestnut pair, but when I saw the gray, I had to have it. I wear 8.5 running shoe and the 9 slipper fits perfectly as soon as the pile settles around my toes (a few hours). The outsole is non-slip (very important) and suitable for stepping into the yard or down the driveway. Except for the one pair where the sole started cracking at the edge, I've bought new pairs just for a color change.
